Ramadan is a month full of mercy and blessings for Muslims. Many people pray a lot to make the most of this month, but the last ten days, especially the odd nights, hold special importance. It’s hard to fully describe their greatness in words. No other days or nights match the acceptance, mercy, and forgiveness of these nights. They are a powerful way to get closer to Allah(S.W.A). During these odd nights which is called Laylatul Qadr, spend time in worship, make sincere prayers, and ask Allah (S.W.A) for forgiveness for yourself and your loved ones.
In this blog, we will explore in detail what Laylatul Qadr is, what we should do during it, and its amazing blessings.
Laylatul Qadr: The Night of Power
Laylatul Qadr is also called Shab-e-Qadr. This night is very special because it was on this night that the Quran was completed for our Prophet (P.B.U.H). It is a night full of blessings and great importance.
Allah(S.W.A) says in the Quran:
إِنَّا أَنْزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ
وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ
لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِّنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ
“Indeed, We sent it [the Quran] down during the Night of Decree. And what will make you know what the Night of Decree is? The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months.”
(Surah Al-Qadr: 1-3)
